Schools
Oak Hill School, Franklin, Tennessee
Parents from Oak Hill School are partnering with Sweet Sleep to provide beds for an orphanage in Sierra Leone.
Little Flower Catholic School, Springfield, Illinois
Little Flower Catholic School took on Sweet Sleep as their school service project for a 2009-2010. They’re raising funds for beds and making things to send to orphans who receive Sweet Sleep beds in the coming year.
Donelson Christian Academy Middle School
DCA students created “Pennies for Pages,” a program where students raised pledges for the number of pages they would read outside of their usual schoolwork and then started reading. At the end of the fundraiser, they had read enough pages to give over $400 for Sweet Sleep.
Faith Lutheran Church Elementary School
The two-year-old through pre-K classes of Faith Day School held a coin drive from Thanksgiving to Easter and raised $900 for Sweet Sleep. Not only did these kids help the children in Moldova, the teachers were able to use the program to teach concepts such as money, numbers and geography.
Universities
Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee
Vanderbilt University’s office of Active Citizenship and Service has partnered with Sweet Sleep to create cultural experiences and volunteer service opportunities for Vanderbilt Students
Belmont University
Sweet Sleep is a Belmont University Service Learning Community Partner. Throughout the year, Belmont provides Sweet Sleep with interns in conjunction with their Nonprofit Leadership Program and volunteers
